Camp SAY is the life changing summer camp for kids & teens who stutter. 2019 Summer dates are July 29 - August 12th. Camp SAY – a program of SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young - combines the highest-quality, traditional summer camp experience with activities and programs that empower young people who stutter.
Campers are engaged in a virtually unlimited range of activities, including arts & crafts, all types of sports, water activities, an equestrian program, broad range of outdoor activities and nature programs, plus communication & skill-building activities and programs. If desired, Speech Therapy support at camp is available too, with individual and group sessions, personalized with you to a child’s unique communication goals.
Our 2-week* sleep-away camp is located on a 500-acre, American Camp Association (ACA)-accredited facility, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina (near Asheville). We welcome children and teens who stutter, ages 8-18, and their young family members and friends. *1-week stays are also available.

Significant Financial Aid is available, on a need-basis, for tuition & travel.
This year alone we awarded more than $400,000 in aid to children from families in need and we have never turned a child away due to a family’s inability to pay.
