ChatterVOX® was created in 1998 to meet the communication needs of a Parkinson’s afflicted friend. It was NOT created as a “business” venture or to copy the work of anyone else.

Over the past 10 years the efficacy of ChatterVOX® has been qualified and quantified in university based studies and practical field applications under the supervision of speech pathologists and audiologists. It is the benchmark by which other voice amplifiers are measured.

Today ChatterVOX® is widely used by not only Parkinson’s patients but also ALS patients, esophogeal speakers, teachers with vocal injuries, tourguides, shop foremen, pastors, water aerobics instructors, coaches and many more.

Nevertheless, ChatterVOX® is a perpetual work in progress evolving to meet widely varying and growing needs for vocal reinforcement and conservation. Ongoing dialogue with the ASHA community and ELT’s fundamental commitment to build quality communication aids assures continued refinement and innovation.
